Neena Gupta: I look forward to shooting for Hindi-Vindi in Australia

Actress Neena Gupta is all set to be part of a film titled Hindi Vindi. The actress, who was last seen in Uunchai, will play a grandmother, who visits her grandson in Australia. The film revolves around an Australian-Indian guy's transformation as he learns Hindi and how he embraces his cultural identity. Neena Gupta said, "“I am delighted to play a key role in Hindi-Vindi.Hindi language is close to my heart, and this film brings Hindi to the forefront of the NRI viewers. I look forward to working with the young members of the team as they are passionate about telling interesting stories. I am excited about the shoot, which will soon commence in Australia."
The other actors in the film include Mihir Ahuja, who plays Kabir and Shannon K as Rihanna.
Meanwhile, the actress had recently celebrated her birthday (June 4) and posted a video. The actress said: I am sitting at home in an AC room and will get my favourite food cooked today. I will enjoy eating good food with my family. The birthday girl was seen wearing a white embroidered jacket gifted by her daughter Masaba Gupta. The actress recently congratulated her former son-in-law, daughter Masaba Gupta‘s ex- husband Madhu Mantena on his wedding with Ira Trivedi. Madhu tied the knot with Ira on Sunday and took to Instagram to thank his well wishers and penned a heartfelt note about how he feels “complete now”.
The actress has been appreciated for her roles in Mulk, Badhaai Do, Panga, 83, Goodbye and Veere Di Wedding in the last decade.
