Mrunal rose to fame with ‘
Kumkum Bhagya’ and is excited to be a part of ‘Love Sonia’, which is directed by the talented Tabrez Noorani and has won a number of accolades in London and Melbourne.
The film is the recipient of the Best Indie Film Award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2018 and follows the journey of a 17-year-old girl, who risks her own life to rescue her estranged sister from the human trafficking network that has spread its tentacles across India, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
The film initially was having a problem finding a release date in India but has crossed all hurdles, and will finally release in September this year. Director Tabrez is hoping that after the positive audience responses in London and Melbourne, the movie will do well in India as well. He added that the talented ensemble cast has also contributed in making this film on human trafficking extra special.
