Man Arrested for illegally entering Salman Khan's film set, threatens to call Lawrence Bishnoi
A man was arrested after unlawfully entering the set of Salman Khan’s film shoot in Mumbai and issuing a veiled threat referencing gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The incident occurred on Wednesday while Salman was filming in the Shivaji Park area of Dadar. According to police sources, the man was behaving suspiciously, prompting crew members to confront him. When questioned, he allegedly replied, "Bishnoi ko bulau kya?" The individual was promptly detained and taken to the Shivaji Park police station for further interrogation.
This development comes amid heightened concerns for Salman Khan's safety, as he has been the target of multiple threats over the past year. The Bishnoi gang, known for its alleged involvement in high-profile crimes, has publicly declared its intent to harm the actor due to his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case during the filming of 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.
In April, the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for a shooting incident outside Salman’s residence in Bandra. Later, in October, they linked themselves to the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, citing his alleged closeness to the actor.
The threats have not been limited to the gang itself. Last month, a 24-year-old lyricist was arrested for falsely claiming to be a Bishnoi gang member while issuing threats to Salman. The police revealed that the lyricist hoped to gain publicity for his song, which mentions Bishnoi.
Additionally, in October, an anonymous caller demanded ₹2 crore as ransom and threatened to kill Salman if the amount was not paid.
Given the repeated threats and the high-profile nature of the cases, authorities are taking all incidents seriously and continue to investigate each claim thoroughly to ensure the actor’s safety.
