Fans were wondering where is Mamta Kulkarni just as her film 'Karan Arjun' re-released in cinemas on November 22. The actress has been away from the limelight for many years now and nobody knew what she was upto. She was living abroad. But Mamta is finally back to Mumbai after 25 years. This happened after the actress recently had a legal victory. Her name was under scanner in connection with the Rs 2000 crore drug haul case which was registered in Thane in the year 2016.
But recently, the Bombay High Court canceled the FIR against her in connection to this case. The actress is back to her country after this victory. She took to social media and dropped a video where she expressed her gratitude to return home and also got emotional. She captioned her video, "❤️BACK TO MY MOTHERLAND AFTER 25 YEARS ATTENDED KUMBH MELA 2012 AFTER 12 YEARS AUSTERITY AND COME BACK EXACTLY AFTER 12 YEARS FOR ANOTHER MAHA KUMBH 2025."

The actress said in her video that she is overwhelmed as she returned to India and especially 'Aamchi Mumbai'. She said that right before the flight landed and she saw her country from the sky, she was emotional. She also got emotional as she walked out of the International airport. She said, "After two decades, I stand on the soil where I grew up, loved, and built my dreams. Mumbai has changed, but its spirit remains eternal. It feels surreal to be back home.”
She made her acting debut with Tirangaa in 1992 and quickly rose to fame with her bold and glamorous roles in films like Karan Arjun and Sabse Bada Khiladi. Her career, however, took a downturn in the early 2000s due to a combination of factors, including a shift towards more daring roles that were often controversial. The actress continues to be active on social media as she kept her fans updated about her return to India. Fans are now hoping to see her in a movie soon, amidst all the buzz around 'Karan Arjun' re-release!
