Kangana Ranaut to make Hollywood debut opposite 'Teen Wolf' star Tyler Posey in horror film 'Blessed Be the Evil'

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is heading west for her long-anticipated Hollywood debut. The actress is set for this next phase in their career by taking on a horror drama titled 'Blessed Be the Evil', directed by Anurag Rudra. She will join the cast that boasts of Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey and Tulsa King fame actress Scarlet Rose Stallone.According to Variety, Ranaut will head to New York, where production is slated to begin this summer.The report further states that the team has strategically selected US locations to sidestep potential disruptions from newly announced film industry tariffs under US President Donald Trump's administration.The film will reportedly centre around a Christian couple who move to an abandoned farm while grappling with the grief of a miscarriage. Their faith and love are soon tested by a malevolent force. According to director Rudra, “This film draws from those haunting folktales."The film will be officially introduced to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market, generating early buzz for what could be one of the highly anticipated films of the year.Kangana will now join a long list of Indian actors making their Hollywood debuts. Just last year, actress Tabu made headlines for landing an important role in the sci-fi web series 'Dune: Prophecy'. Fellow Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter also made his debut in the web series 'The Perfect Couple'. Actress Alia Bhatt also made waves when she landed a role in the spy film 'Heart Of Stone' that saw her going up against Gal Gadot and Jame Dornan. While she is exploring new avenues, Kangana will also be working on several home productions. According to her IMDB profile, the actress, producer and director has around 5 projects in the works.
