Rati Agnihotri began working at the tender age of 16, but the actress has no complaints. “It’s destiny that has brought me here.While growing up, I was very clear in my mind that I wanted to be a doctor. Back then, as a 16 year old, I didn’t even realise what stardom meant because I was working for almost 18 hours in a day. But since I come from a conservative background, things weren’t that smooth once I decided to join films.
But my father was very supportive throughout. Maybe I missed out on a lot of things during my growing up years; but then, I have absolutely no regrets because I love my work a lot,” she says. And the Bollywood bug seems to have bitten her son Tanuj too. “He has done a few short films and is now very keen to face the camera. Let’s see where his destiny leads him,” she says.
