'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' Trailer: Sonam Kapoor unveils the other perspective of True Love in this refreshing love story

An unexpected twist to a beautiful love story is what all about the Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'. The film initially looks like any other beautiful love story but as the trailer progress, it takes us into the other perspective of a romantic relationship which is above gender, caste, creed or religion.

The trailer of the film starts with Rajkumar Rao narrating a play with a message to 'watch it from your heart and not from your brain'. Then comes Sonam Kapoor who keeps on dreaming of her fairytale love. Her family who is on a mission to marry her off finds Rajkumar Rao as the perfect groom for her beloved daughter. With a reprised version of Gud Naal Ishq Mitha song in the background, the trailer takes us through any other Bollywood romantic film. But soon things change and Sonam opens up about her preference of love which leaves her family in a state of shock, followed by a bitter exchange of words with her father Anil Kapoor.

The film casts the real life father-daughter duo Anil Kapooor and Sonam Kapoor onscreen for the first time.
Helmed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, the romantic drama also stars Juhi Chawla, Regina Cassandra, and Madhumalti Kapoor. The title of the film is based on Anil Kapoor’s superhit song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga from the 1994’s film '1942: A Love Story'. The film will hit the screens on February 1, 2019.
