When asked which male actor she’d choose to be stranded with on a deserted island, Ananya immediately named Ranveer Singh. She explained, “Ranveer, because he’d entertain me with some dance or something. I don’t want to get bored.”

Call Me Bae, a comedy-drama series produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and directed by Colin D’Cunha, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 6. The series, written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, features an ensemble cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.

Beyond Call Me Bae, Ananya Panday has other projects in the pipeline. She will star in Vikramaditya Motwane’s thriller CTRL, which premieres on Netflix on October 4, 2024, alongside Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, Kamakshi Bhat, Suchita Trivedi, Samit Gambhir, and Ravish Desai. Additionally, she will be featured in the upcoming film Shankara, though details about the project remain under wraps.
