Ananya Panday is currently on a promotional spree for her OTT show Call Me Bae, that will premiere soon. In the show, she plays a super rich Delhi girl who suddenly finds all her wealth gone! Determined to make it on her own, she moves to Mumbai, where the reality of everyday existence hits her hard!
Recently, in a rapid-fire segment with Pinkvilla, Ananya shared some intriguing insights about herself.
When asked which male actor she’d choose to be stranded with on a deserted island, Ananya immediately named Ranveer Singh. She explained, “Ranveer, because he’d entertain me with some dance or something. I don’t want to get bored.”
In a lighthearted moment, Ananya was also asked to rate her acting skills. She responded with a chuckle, "I can’t do this… Like a 3… How can I rate myself as an actor?” Her co-stars Niharika Dutt and Muskkaan Jaferi urged her to give herself a higher rating, and she eventually settled on a 7 out of 10.

Although Ananya and Ranveer Singh have yet to star together in a film, she did make an appearance in his introductory song, Heartthrob, from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. Fans are eagerly anticipating a future collaboration between the two.
Call Me Bae, a comedy-drama series produced by
Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and directed by Colin D’Cunha, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 6. The series, written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, features an ensemble cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.
Beyond Call Me Bae, Ananya Panday has other projects in the pipeline. She will star in Vikramaditya Motwane’s thriller CTRL, which premieres on Netflix on October 4, 2024, alongside Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, Kamakshi Bhat, Suchita Trivedi, Samit Gambhir, and Ravish Desai. Additionally, she will be featured in the upcoming film Shankara, though details about the project remain under wraps.
