Exclusive! Dino Morea: Lost the opportunity to work with Asif Basra, despite being part of the same project

Last week the Bollywood film industry came to learn of yet another tragic demise. Actor Asif Basra who worked in numerous Bollywood films and web series was found hanging at a private complex in Mcleodganj, Dharamshala. While reports claim it was a death by suicide, the police are still investigating the matter.

Many actors who worked with the late actor, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Emraan Hashmi, Vivek Agnihotri shared their shock on hearing of his passing and honoured his memory.
ETimes got in touch with Dino Morea, who was working on a web series that also featured Asif Basra. However, the actor reveals that it was very unfortunate that despite being part of the same project, he was unable to work with the late actor. Expressing his disappointment over the lost opportunity to work with Basra, he said, "I am extremely saddened by the loss. Though Asif was a part of the series which I featured in, I, unfortunately, didn’t get the opportunity to shoot with him."
Asif who was known for his acting prowess was staying at Dharamshala complex for nearly 6 years, where he was found dead. Investigations are on into the cause of his demise.
