Bajatey Raho script changed for Dolly Ahluwalia

She is not the quintessential mummy ji of the big screen. In fact, Dolly Ahluwalia is the alter ego of that and much more.
The actress will be seen leading the way for the rest of the cast of the film Bajatey Raho. Yes, Dolly, who is in her mid-50s, is the lead actor of the film and has the entire story revolving around her. In fact, the storyline was changed for Dolly to be a part of this film.
“I feel blessed! It was very heartwarming to know that the story was modified keeping me in mind. Shashant is a brilliant director to work with because he knows how to give the actor his/her required creative space. This has made the whole experience rocking!” shares Dolly.
“When I heard the script for the first time, I was on the seventh heaven. Having said that, it made me really nervous as well because I realized that Shashant had instilled his entire faith in me. It is not an easy responsibility to handle, but I felt honoured,” she adds.
Shashant didn’t think twice before changing the script for Dolly and knew that she would be able to drive this film through to box office on her shoulders. “She has the knack of a natural actor, which helped me throughout the film. She was brilliant to work with and I know for a fact that our decision to make her the lead of the film was absolutely correct,” says Shashant.
