Avinash Tiwary recently shared how he struggled for over 15 years before landing a lead role in Imtiaz Ali’s 'Laila Majnu'. The actor further revealed an awkward moment that occurred with Amitabh Bachchan during the TV show 'Yudh'. He almost hit Big B on the head during an action scene and felt embarrassed.
In an interview with Indian Express, Avinash shared that during his first meeting with Amitabh Bachchan, they were about to do an action scene together. He had never performed an action sequence in his life. In the particular scene, Amitabh Bachchan was supposed to hit him, and Avinash had to duck and then counterattack. “Fortunately, I only hit him on the head, but the embarrassment I felt at that time, I still haven’t recovered from it,” he stated.

Did you know Amitabh Bachchan once accidentally hit Vinod Khanna while filming for 'Muqaddar Ka Sikandar'?

Everyone went silent, but he had to punch him again since they hadn’t called "cut." Avinash immediately apologized, only to be met with a humorous yet composed reaction from Big B, who acknowledged the mishap. In his nervousness, Avinash suggested a rehearsal, prompting an amused Bachchan to humorously comment on Avinash's inexperience but graciously advised him to treat action scenes like choreography, likening them to dance.

Avinash further shared his gratitude for the re-release of 'Laila Majnu' earlier this year, which earned double its original box-office revenue. While he is content with his progress as an artist, he acknowledges that the hustle in the industry is ongoing.
Avinash Tiwary is currently gearing up for the premiere of 'Sikandar Ka Muqaddar', which will be released on November 29.
