Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh wrap up their next film in London

After the huge success of ‘Bellbottom’ at the box office, Akshay Kumar recently wrapped the shoot of his next film in London. The yet-to-be-titled film will see Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady and is being directed by Ranjit Tiwari who also helmed ‘Bellbottom’. So, it’s sort of a reunion for Akshay.
The dashing actor took to his Twitter handle to announce the wrap up news. Sharing a picture with the cast and crew of the film he wrote, “Can’t believe it’s a wrap on ! Grateful to have shot and completed a memorable journey with the loveliest team! Thank you for all the love,smiles and fun!”

Look closely and you can see the beaming faces of lead stars Akshay and Rakul - producers Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, as well as director Ranjit Tiwari, Sargun Mehta, and the entire team in the group photo.
‘Bellbottom’, co-starring Lara Dutta (whose former PM Indira Gandhi look became the talk of town), Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor (who played Akshay's wife), had the superstar playing an Indian spy tasked to rescue hostages from a hijacked Indian plane. The seasoned actor has even spoken about the possibility of a sequel to ‘Bell Bottom’. The actor has revealed that the way the film ends, there is definitely scope for a sequel and that if the makers come up with a good script, things could indeed work out.

Meanwhile, Akshay has 'Prithviraj', 'Atrangi Re', 'Bachchan Pandey' and 'Sooryavanshi' in the pipeline. On the other hand, up next for Rakul are Ajay Devgn’s 'Mayday', 'Thank God' by Indra Kumar and then 'Doctor G' opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
