Ajay Devgn is set to reprise his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in the upcoming crime thriller 'Raid 2', which will hit theaters on February 21, 2025. Following the success of 'Raid' in 2018, the team is returning with 'Raid 2', directed by Rajkumar Gupta. Riteish Deshmukh, known for his remarkable portrayals of antagonists, will share the screen with Ajay for the first time in a dramatic role, after their previous comedic collaborations.
'Raid', released in 2018, featured Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla, and Ileana D'Cruz. The film, based on a real-life 1980s Income Tax raid, saw Ileana portraying Devgn's wife. 'Raid 2' is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar.
Up next, Ajay will be seen in 'Singham Again', under the direction of Rohit Shetty. This ambitious cop drama also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. Additionally, he will feature in 'Son of Sardaar 2', which is being directed by Vijay Kumar Arora.
