Adil Hussain and Sandhya Mridul attend the premiere of their film 'Nirvana Inn' in Gurgaon

Adil Hussain and Sandhya Mridul recently attended the premiere of their film, 'Nirvana Inn', in Gurgaon. The film, which has been shot in Manali, Majuli and Chennai, follows the story of a boatman who, after an attempted suicide, becomes the caretaker of a Himalayan resort. The film had its World Premiere at the 24th Busan International Film festival 2019.
'Nirvana Inn'; was the only Indian project selected for the Asian Project Market (APM) in Busan which is Asia’s largest project market and was awarded the prestigious Asian Cinema Fund.
The psychological horror drama stars Adil Hussain as the protagonist and also features Rajshri Deshpande and Sandhya Mridul in prominent roles.

Adil Hussain tells us,"Film critics from across the world have appreciated the film. This is a film about guilt and how the sense of guilt can lead a man to do things that are not supposed to be done. Sandhya Mridul, Rajshri Deshpande and I play leads in the film." The film is directed by Vijay Jayapal.
Talking about the film, a psychological horror, Sandhya says, “Vijay brings a simple, real and personal approach to his films. For me, this role was easy and then not. I was terrified myself at the end of it. So be scared, be very scared."
Vijay Jayapal, who made his debut with acclaimed Tamil film, 'Revelations', says "I was incredibly excited when I found out that the grading of our film was to be done at the same studio where 'Snowpiercer' (a critically acclaimed 2013 science-fiction action film) was worked on. These funds enable us to work with international technicians to make truly international films and it will show when you watch the film."
