'Venom' box office collection day 2: The Tom Hardy starrer rakes in Rs 5.25 crore

The superhero flick 'Venom' based on Marvel comics and the character with the same name has hit the theatres on October 5.

Now, according to the report on BoxOfficeIndia.com, the film has raked in Rs 5.25 crore in India on its second day, since the release. This makes the total collection of Rs 9.25 crore in India.
The film stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott. The story revolves around journalist Brock who is bound to an alien symbiote that gives him superpowers.
Tom Hardy has received a lot of appreciation for his portrayal as Venom in Ruben Fleischer's directorial.
The film opened to theatres along with movies like Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Andhadhun' and Aayush Sharma - Warina Hussain starrer 'Loveyatri', in India.
