Diplomat sees further drop in the business on its second Tuesday and the film made around Rs 85 lakhs. Meanwhile, 'Chhaava' continues to dominate as it made Rs 1.5 crore on its sixth Tuesday.

John Abraham's film 'Diplomat' is now in its second week. The film is based on a true event and is a story of an Indian girl who gets rescued from Pakistan with the help of a Government official. John plays the role of diplomat JP Singh in the movie and has been getting a lot of love for it. The movie had an opening of Rs 4 crore on its opening day but has continued to remain steady due to positive word of mouth. Infact, it saw a good growth on the second weekend and made more than Rs 5 crore as a total on second Saturday and Sunday.
Further drop on Tuesday
According to Sacnilk, by the end of week 1, the movie had collected Rs 19.15 crore. But it saw a good growth over the second Saturday and Sunday. While it made Rs 2.5 crore on Saturday, the collection on Sunday was Rs 2.75 crore. However, there was a huge drop on second Monday and the movie made only Rs 90 lakhs.
