Retro themed party organised to pay tribute to the legendary music composer RD Burman in Lucknow

A retro theme party was organised to pay tribute to the legendary music composer RD Burman in the city.
“RD Burman’s birth anniversary has just passed. We had organised this do to pay a tribute to one of the greatest music composers of all times,” said RJ Vipul.
DREAM THEME: Most of the guests turned up sporting Bollywood styles from the 70s. Abhist came dressed as Rajesh Khanna while his better half Shubhi was dressed like Mumtaz.Priyanka too tried to imitate Mumtaz’s style, while Raghvendra dressed up like Shammi Kapoor. RJ Rashi came dressed in retro fashion sporting a floral print kurta.
Considering that the party was hosted in memory of RDB, it was but obvious that the songs that DJ Elton belted out that day were Burman’s compositions. RJs Arjit and Dev had a blast on the dance floor as they shook a leg on RD’s hit number “Mehbooba Mehbooba”. Arup and Ranjana were spotted grooving to the original “Dum Maaro Dum”.
But the star of the evening was Abbas Khan aka Biji Pandey. The TV actor from Lucknow, who was in town on a personal visit, made an early entry at the do. And he kept his fans busy, who were seen queueing up to him to get autographs signed. Abbas also shook a leg with everyone, and was seen mingling happily with the crowd. No star tantrums, yet.
