Viveck Vaswani’s 50th birthday bash

When Viveck Vaswani turned 50 recently, his friends Devang Dholakia and Zeeba Khan as well as his protégé Amaan Khan hosted a special bash for him in Mumbai. Amaan was among the first to be at the bash along with Shawn Arranha, Devang and Zeeba. While people say that the young Amaan bears a striking resemblance to Shah Rukh Khan, who had also worked with Viveck before he became a big star.
This Bollywood brunch saw many people in attendance including big names like Jackie Shroff, Sudhir Mishra, Ashutosh Gowariker, Kabir Bedi, Hemendra Aran, Gitanjali Sinha, Pallavi Joshi, Vivek Agnihotri, Rajeev Paul, Premal Goragandhi, Vaishali Desai, Pitobash, Rajshree, Ashmith Kunder, Atul Kasbekar, Lalit Pandit, Parveen Dusanj, Mahesh Shetty, Mohit Chadda, Sharon Prabhakar, Jyti Goel, Milap Zaverri, Sunjiv Puri, Joe Rajan, Ram Michandani, Deven Khote, and Gautam and Krishna Ghanasingh among others. Viveck, with his unparalleled zest for all things fun, cut many colourful cakes and seemed to be enjoying himself thoroughly.
He said, “The surprise bash, it seems, was Amaan’s idea and Devang and Zeeba were sweet to decide they would throw it with him. Between the three of them, they made my day very special. I was so touched to see that most of my friends were there, I am feeling good I turned 50 actually.”
