At a recent event, fans got together to celebrate
RD Burman’s musical legacy.
The event saw many musical greats under one roof, reminiscing about the great musician. The people present at the event shared a lot of their personal memories about the musical legend who was a force in the musical world that changed multiple paradigms.

The event saw many fans of RD Burman including singers, music composers, director
Sonu Nigam, Shibani Kahsyap, Shantanu Moitre, Lesle Lewis, Vivek Vaswani, Sandesh Shandilya,
Shamir Tandon, Nandini Srikar and also a veteran journalist from the fraternity Chaitanya Padukone.
At the event Singer Sonu Nigam said, “I have heard so much about Brahmanand Siingh’s films and his work from other people. I was lucky that I met RD Burman and I was about to sing a song for him. But it is all in the destiny, I didn’t have the privilege to work with him. I missed the opportunity because I was in Delhi this was for the film ‘Love Story’. There is a term called ‘teleology’ which means that a person has an ultimate purpose in this world and Brahmanand’s teleology was making films on RD Burman.”
