Anup Jalota turns a year older!

The music industry got together to celebrate ghazal maestro Anup Jalota’s birthday the other evening.
Singers, musicians, ghazal greats, music composers... the who’s who of the Indian music industry were present to wish Anup a very happy birthday. There were others from the entertainment industry too, like Arun Govil, Tanvi Azmi, Rakesh Bedi, Anju Mahendroo, Kishori Shahane Vij and Mona Kapoor. We spotted Rajesh Kohli talking to Om Puri who had come with his wife Nandita.
The evening was hip n’ happening from start to finish. If there wasn’t a live performance going on, there was music and dancing to entertain you. While Om Puri sang a Rajasthani song for Anup, singers Preety Bhalla and Madhushree made the guests dance to their tunes. Love, laughter and song... it was a birthday well spent.
