Recently, Dhaka Kolkata Cultural Forum had organised a programme at a city lounge where it felicitated achievers in various fields from epar and opar Bangla. Amongst others, writer Nabendu Ghosh
(who could not grace the occasion because of health problems) and fashion designer Bibi Russell were honoured for their works.
The evening was all about warm camaraderie and people discussed how cultural interaction between the two countries can make the twain meet. The songs presented by Sutapa Roychoudhuri and Najimul Haque warmed everyone’s hearts.
