Hyderabadi potta and a Dilli ki kudi: A wedding bash like no other

When Aadarsh Balakrishna got hitched to his Dilliwaali fiancée, Gulnar, there were no saat pheras or elaborate rituals. The couple had a no-frills attached registered marriage last Friday. “After the wedding we had a very special celebration at Aadarsh’s home where only our families were present. Aadarsh had a surprise in store for me — a band played the theme song of my favoutite TV show, Game of Thrones,” says the new bride, Gulnar. The couple celebrated their wedding with a massive party on Saturday night at Marriott Convention Centre. The families of the bride and groom bonded over their love for music, masti and a whole lot of dancing. Post midnight began an after-party where the close friends and family members partied till 4.30 am. The most cinematic bit of the do was when Aadarsh and Gulnar shook a leg to the B’town chartbuster Gulabo together.
