Zayn Malik cuts 1-D ties online

Zayn Malik, 22, has officially moved on from his boy band days by removing any references to One Direction on his Twitter account.
Malik changed his handle from @ZaynMalik1D to @ZaynMalik and removed his biography, which initially talked about 1-D. After the omissions, Zayn tweeted, “Is speech an extension to our thoughts or an image that we like to create x (sic).”

Fans, however, reacted by posting about their grief along with the hashtag ‘#YouWillAlwaysBeZaynMalik1D’.
