The official title of the highly anticipated Spider-Man 4 movie starring Tom Holland, has been revealed as 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'.
The announcement came via a video message from the actor during CinemaCon, where director Destin Daniel Cretton also took the stage to discuss the upcoming film. Set to hit cinemas on July 31, 2026, the movie marks a new chapter for Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after the events of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'.

Holland, who last portrayed the beloved web-slinger in the 2021 billion dollar blockbuster, expressed his gratitude to fans saying, "A massive thank you for all of your support," he said and added, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a fresh start."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Cretton shared his excitement, and teased that the project will be “a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”

This announcement comes just hours after fans spotted Spider-Man 4 on the 2026 film slate at CinemaCon.

According to reports, the film’s title references a 2008 comic book storyline where, following a universe-altering event, the world forgets who Spider-Man is. While this mirrors the events of No Way Home, which ended with Peter Parker asking Doctor Strange to make the world forget Spider-Man, the original storyline was controversial among fans, as it also saw the dissolution of Peter’s marriage to Mary Jane Watson.
While Tom is set to return as the superhero, it remains to be seen what role 'Stranger Things' star Sadie Sink has landed in the film. While some assumed she will play Peter's new love interest, others hint at a possible X-Men role.

Wile Marvel fans will have to wait till 2026 to watch Spidey in action, they have a packed slate ahead, with Thunderbolts arriving this May and The Fantastic Four: First Steps debuting on July 25. Meanwhile, Avengers: Doomsday, which brings back Robert Downey Jr, but as the villain Doctor Dooom, is set for release in May 2026.
