The official website for Studio Ponoc's upcoming anime film adaptation of A.F. Harrold and Emily Gravett's novel, ‘The Imaginary,’ made an announcement today. It was revealed that the theme song ‘Nothing's Impossible’ will be performed by A Great Big World (known for ‘Say Something’) featuring Rachel Platten (known for ‘Fight Song’). The website also released a trailer and a teaser video, both of which feature a preview of the theme song. The song became available on streaming and download platforms.

The film's primary cast includes: Kokoro Terada as Rudger, Rio Suzuki as Amanda, Sakura Andō as Lizzie, Riisa Naka as Emily, Takayuki Yamada as Jinzan, Atsuko Takahata as Downbeat Grandma, Akira Terao as Old Dog, Hana Sugisaki as Aurora and Issey Ogata as Mr. Bunting.

Studio Ponoc has promised more announcements for the film, including details about the English voice cast.
The movie is set to premiere in Japan on December 15. Studio Ponoc had to delay its release last year from the original summer 2022 date due to production challenges and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In Japan, the film is titled ‘Yaneura no Rudger’ (which translates to ‘Rudger in the Attic’).
