The film has impressed the Indian audience to such an extent that it has now become the number one Hollywood film with the biggest opening in the country. Hercules has been running to packed houses across India since its release. The movie is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Distributed jointly by Paramount Pictures and MGM, the movie is directed by Brett Ratner. The movie also stars Ian McShane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt. The movie released on August 1, 2014.
