The official website for 'Shaman King Flowers,' the sequel to the recent Shaman King anime, has unveiled a key visual and the return of some familiar cast members. The returning cast includes Yoko Hikasa, who also voices the main character, Hana Asakura, Megumi Hayashibara as Anna Asakura, and Minami Takayama as Hao, the current Shaman King.
The new anime features a cast led by Yoko Hikasa as Hana Asakura, Katsuyuki Konishi as Amidamaru, Sumire Uesaka as Alumi Niumbirch, Shun Horie as Yohane Asakura, Michiko Kaiden as Gakko Ibuki, and Romi Park as Tao Men.
Previously announced returning cast members include Nana Mizuki as Tamao Tamamura, Takumu Miyazono as Ponchi, Noriaki Kanze as Konchi, Masahiko Tanaka as Ryunosuke Umemiya, and Wataru Takagi as Tokagero.
The new characters are portrayed by Ami Koshimizu as Luca Asakura, Kentaro Ito as Daikyоo Oboro, Kenta Miyake as Ryuji Ichihara, and Chihiro Ueda as Namaha.
The anime is set to premiere in January 2024. The series director Takeshi Furuta is returning from the last anime, with Shoji Yonemura overseeing the series scripts and Mayuko Yamamoto designing the characters.
Additional staff members include Toshiumi Iizumi and Satoshi Mutsuda for Over Soul Design, Yuji Shibata for Prop Design, Jin'ya Kimura for Art Director/Art Design, Natsuko Otsuka as Color Key Artist, Teruyuki Kawase as the Compositing Director of Photography, Kumiko Sakamoto for Editing, and
Yuki Hayashi for Music. Masafumi Mima serves as the Sound Director, and the music production is handled by King Records.
The original manga's creator, Hiroyuki Takei, launched 'Shaman King Flowers' in Jump X magazine in 2012, concluding it in the magazine's final issue in 2014. Takei followed it with 'Shaman King The Super Star' spinoff in 2017, which was later put on hiatus in September 2021. Kodansha USA Publishing publishes both manga in English.

The new 'Shaman King' anime premiered in April 2021 and was subsequently streamed on Netflix in August 2022. It adapted all 35 volumes of the original manga's new complete edition. The first anime adaptation of the manga initially aired in 2001.
