Addressing the situation on his Staying Relevant podcast, Sam shared how he’s prioritizing self-reflection and well-being instead of jumping into a new relationship. He acknowledged that many people tend to seek comfort in new romances after breakups but explained that he’s intentionally taking a different path.
“I suppose a lot of people look for validation in other people,” Sam reflected. “They rush into something new because they feel they need to fill that emotional gap or find excitement elsewhere.”
Instead of following that pattern, Sam revealed he’s been embracing a quieter lifestyle — focusing on his home, pets and family rather than seeking distractions.
“I’m such a homebody,” he admitted. “I love being at home, spending time with my cats, and hanging out with my family. Honestly, I barely ever go out.”
Since their breakup, both Sam and Zara have distanced themselves from their shared past online. Notably, they deleted their joint Instagram account, which previously showcased their home renovation projects. The last update on that page dates back to December.
Despite the emotional toll of the breakup, Sam has maintained a positive outlook. Recently, he even posted a lighthearted Instagram video dressed in a Hufflepuff costume from 'Harry Potter,' showing that he’s still embracing humor despite the circumstances.
Meanwhile, Zara has been linked to Louis Tomlinson after the pair were spotted together during what appeared to be a romantic getaway in Suffolk. According to The Sun, the two were seen holding hands and enjoying a cozy meal together at a hotel in Aldeburgh.
A source told The Sun, “Louis whisked Zara away for a relaxing trip in Suffolk and it’s clear they’ve really hit it off. He absolutely charmed her and it’s obvious he’s just as smitten.” The insider added, “Louis is a proper gentleman, and he went out of his way to plan something special for Zara. He wanted to make sure their time together felt thoughtful and memorable.”
While Zara’s love life appears to be moving forward, Sam remains committed to focusing on himself, cherishing quiet moments with his loved ones and embracing life at his own pace.
