‘Scream’ actress and her fellow acting partner listed their gorgeous home in L.A. for a whopping $4.3 million. They both bought the Sherman Oaks home for $2.8 million in 2020.
It’s been five years since the famous duo bought the charming colonial home in Los Angeles, in a quaint neighborhood of Sherman Oaks. Now the stars have decided to hand over the keys to their home for just a speck over $4.3 million.
Since the purchase in 2020, Campbell and Field have done extensive work around the home, according to Sotheby’s International Realty, who are marketing the home for the couple and have begun their work on Wednesday.
The majority of work was dedicated to transforming the landscape around the home, except for the original redwood, on the 0.4-acre double lot. The pair raised in fruit plants and beautiful boulders to line the slope and pathways. They also installed a fruit and vegetable garden, as well as an elaborate irrigation system.
The colonial-style home, built in 1925, is set back and above street level, with a columned front porch and white horizontal siding. The entirety of its living area includes five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. There’s a private entrance and a beautiful patio to the first-floor guest wing, according to the listing by Richard Yohon of Sotheby's International Realty and Konstantine Valissarakos of Nourmand & Associates.
In addition to the renovation, Campbell and Field also added extra amenities to make the house even more stylish and comfortable. They installed a new bluestone pool with a Baja shelf and hot tub, as well as a cedar sauna, an ice barrel, and a pool house complete with a restroom and an outdoor shower. The home also comes with an outdoor kitchen, equipped with a built-in bar, multiple grills and fridges, an ice machine, and a pergola-covered dining area.
Other improvements include an EV charger in the three-car garage, an elevator, and a landscaped children's play area with a swing set and an in-ground trampoline. The couple also revamped the property’s accessory dwelling unit, which has its own address, adding new finishes to the mini kitchen and bathroom.
