Martin Freeman fears social media

The Hobbit actor Martin Freeman says the reason he is not on social media sites is because he is worried his media posts could cause a ‘premature end’ to his career.

The 44-year-old actor has consciously made the decision to stay off the social networking sites so not to get drawn into anything with his fans, that could unwittingly upset them. “The fans are very enthusiastic — that’s the word.Which is great, but yeah, it impacts my life so I try not to let it influence my work. That’s the reason I don’t do Twitter or anything.” he said in an interview
