The 59-year-old Thelma & Louise actress is excited to share the screen space with the 44-year-old Mad Men star, reported People magazine.
"Jon is actually playing my father! It is an interesting story that has a sci-fi element to it. I'm so excited to work with him and was so happy when he won the Emmy. He is such a good actor," Davis said.
Adaptation of last year's Pulitzer prize-nominated play by Jordan Harrison, the plot follows an ageing violinist named Marjorie, who, at age 85, finds that her memory is failing her.
