More than a decade after his MCU debut, Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson will finally lead his own film and carry on the mantle of Captain America from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). The latest footage, revealed this weekend at D23 Brazil, offers a thrilling preview of all that is in store for fans of the franchise.

While the first teaser hinted at a film with political thriller elements, reminiscent of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', this one sets the stage for a more sinister plot with assassins, superheroes, spies and supervillains stepping into the ring. Much to the excitement for comic book fans, this new trailer sees Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross, unleashing the Red Hulk and going head-on with Sam Wilson's Captain America in a high-stakes clash.


The latest instalment will reportedly follow Sam, who, after a crucial meeting with the newly elected US President Thaddeus Ross, is thrust into a high-stakes international crisis. As Wilson steps into his role as Captain America, he must uncover the dark motives behind a dangerous global conspiracy before a shadowy mastermind sets the world ablaze.
