Empire magazine unveiled a handful of stills from the film that see Chris as his character Dementus and Anya in both her Furiosa avatars. While in one still, the actress is pictured with long hair, in the other, she rocks the character's signature buzz cut and robotic hand.
In this prequel to the Oscar-winning 2015 film 'Max Max: Fury Road', Anya Taylor-Joy takes on the lead role of Furiosa from Charlize Theron. The anticipation for this standalone movie has been palpable, given Theron's stand-out performance as the Imperator.
Set in a dystopian future where societies have crumbled and resources are scarce, 'Furiosa' delves into the story of how she was abducted from the Green Place of Many Mothers by the Warlord Dementus, played by Hemsworth.
