It will focus on Armendariz as he upends not just the wrestling world, but also his own life. The film is slated to premiere on Prime Video on September 22.
The film also features an ensemble cast including Roberta Colindrez, Perla de la Rosa, Joaquín Cosío, Raúl Castillo and Bad Bunny. Cassandro is not Bad Bunny’s sole foray into either movies or wrestling. Bad Bunny also wrestled multiple times for WWE.
The film has been penned by Williams with David Teague and Julian Herbert.
