Fans of Brie Larson have gone into a frenzy with the announcement that director Edgar Wright’s 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’s’ new extended soundtrack will make a digital debut on July 9. The most exciting part of the announcement is the fact that there’s going to be a new version of the cult song from the movie ‘Black Sheep’ with Brie Larson.

The tweet further said that the upcoming album would also include original demos from Beck and other music from the film.
The original soundtrack of the film was released in 2010, with 22 songs but it featured 'Black Sheep' performed by the group Metric. Larson's version of the song was available on YouTube, and it has earned over 40 million views over the years, but now that it’s going to be part of the official album, fans are lining up for a digital encore. Twitter users expressed their excitement with words like ‘nostalgia’, ‘surprise’ and ‘big deal’.
Larson had played Envy Adams, one of the protagonist Scott's (Michael Cera) exes, in the popular romantic action-comedy. In addition to Envy's band, the soundtrack includes Clash at Demonhead, Sex Bob-omb, and the flick's other fictitious music groups. The album will also feature 11 newly released tracks along with Larson's rendition of ‘Black Sheep’.
