On Friday, a lot of films and web series were announced at an event titled

. For Bengalis, storytelling is more than entertainment—it’s an emotional connection to our roots and a celebration of the tales that shape us. From black-and-white classics to today’s digital narratives, Bengali audiences have always embraced stories that satisfy their love for great content.
A true celebration of Bengali content, it brings the festive spirit of the Bengali New Year early, wrapped in nostalgia, emotion, and cinematic brilliance.
The exciting lineup of films are as follows:

  • Raghu Dakat, directed by Dhrubo Banerjee and starring Dev, Anirban Bhattacharya, Sohini Sarkar, Idhika Paul, and Roopa Ganguly, brings to life the legendary rise of an outlaw in an epic fantasy rooted in Bengal’s history.
  • Vijaynagar’er Hirey, helmed by Chandrasish Ray with Prosenjit Chatterjee, follows Kakababu’s perilous quest for a mythical treasure amid danger and mystery.
  • Saptadingar Guptadhon, directed by Dhrubo Banerjee and featuring Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakrabarty, and Ishaa Saha, sees Sona Da face his deadliest treasure hunt yet, where betrayal lurks at every turn.
  • Chor Police Dakat Babu,directed by Nirjhar Mitra and starring Abir Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Subhashree Ganguly, follows three brothers who run a pice hotel by day and turn into master thieves by night.
  • Sadhak Bamakhyapa, directed by Sayantan Ghosal and led by Sabyasachi Chowdhury, traces the untold journey of a mystic whose unwavering faith reshaped spirituality.
  • Killbill Society,directed by Srijit Mukherji and starring Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Kaushani Mukherjee, Biswanath Basu, Sandipta Sen, Arijita Mukherjee, and Anindya Chatterjee, unravels the enigmatic return of Ananda Kar as he embarks on a mind-bending journey where truth and destiny collide.
Apart from successful genres across traditional family dramas and thrillers, the digital platform is also exploring mythological horror, survival thriller, legal drama, adventure stories, horror comedies, and women-led content with social cause that entertain yet spark conversation. More shows will be announced towards the second half of the year! The platform’s vision keeps extending beyond digital streaming.
The production house will present the third instalment of the successful franchise The Eken along with also bringing another beloved characterfrom web to the big screen in “Gora” with “Gora-e-Gondogol”.
