Mishmee is excited about working with Ritwick and Chiranjeet
Actress Mishmee Das is on cloud nine. She will soon be seen sharing screen space with Chiranjeet Chakraborty and Ritwick Chakraborty in the upcoming Bengali film, Buro Sadhu. For Mishmee, who’s foraying into mainstream Tollywood films with the film, it was a dream come true to be cast opposite Ritwick Chakraborty in the film.
“Buro Sadhu is not actually my debut film since I had already worked in a small budget independent film earlier.

The trailer of Buro Sadhu released recently and I am receiving a lot of good feedback. Not only the trailer, I also love all the songs from the film. It was indeed a dream come true to be paired with Ritwickda in my very first commercial Tollywood film. He’s such a brilliant actor and a lovely co-star that not even for a second did he make me feel like a newcomer,” the actress said.
An elated Mishmee also shared an anecdote with us from the shooting floors. She said, “There was a scene where Ritwickda was upset and was sitting alone in a room. I had to call him by slowly patting on his back. Initially, I was feeling really scared as to how to go about the shot, but he made it so comfortable. Before shooting the scene, he said, ‘Tui amar gaye hath dite parish, ami kamrai na,’ and we both burst out laughing.”
Buro Sadhu is a psychological drama and thriller directed by debutant filmmaker Vik. The plot revolves around a man's life, right from boyhood to manhood. The film showcases his disturbed family life and relationships during his journey from rags to riches.
Mishmee further added that each day on the set was a fun-filled experience. “My director, Vik, Ritwickda, Chiranjeetda and others were not only great to work with, but also extremely down to earth. I had an amazing experience during the shoot. I hope the audience like it,” she signed off
