Kaushik Ganguly's next, ‘Kishore Kumar Junior’ featuring
Prosenjit Chatterjee in the lead, has left fans intrigued with its interesting title. The upcoming musical drama narrates the story of a ‘Kishore Kanthi’ (one who sings and performs popular hits of
Kishore Kumar) named Goutam Ghosh (played by Prosenjit). To amp up the craze surrounding the film, director Ganguly announced on his Twitter handle that movie buffs will get to see a ‘Kishore Kumar Carnival’ this
Durga Puja.

During a recent interview, Prosenjit said he is quite excited to be a part of this project as it was his tribute to the legend. “I stepped into Tollywood with a film that had a superhit song from none other than Kishore Kumar. My first film became a box office success and Kishore’s voice played a big part in it. So, this film is my tribute to the legendary singer.”
While Aparajita Adhya essays Prosenjit's onscreen wife, Chatterjee actors Rajesh Sharma, Lama and Masood Akhtar will be seen in other important roles.
