After bringing allegations of insult and non-payment against the makers of Hobuchandra Raja Gobuchandra Mantri, Kabir Suman’s Facebook profile was either deactivated or deleted on Saturday. On April 4, he first wrote about how he was hurt by Aniket Chattopadhyay's comment, 'Kabir Suman ke handle kora kothin' at a press con. The veteran musician, who had earlier scored for the director's film, Shankar Mudi, explained that one incident made him bow out of Hobuchandra Raja Gobuchandra Mantri and that his dues from the film were yet to be cleared.

He also mentioned that Dev being the producer of the film, did not make it to the recording studio even once. In a post the following day, he said he left the film out of disgust as his artistes had a tough time recording for the film. As per Kabir Suman, Aniket had asked him to record the first song of the movie with young voices, as it was meant to serve as an introduction to the movie. The team comprised youngsters, the oldest of whom was in Class IV. But during the recording of Bombagarher Golpo, neither the director nor the producer showed up. Kabir Suman wrote that his colleague, Raka Bhattacharya, organised ‘chips’ and ‘chocolates’ for the children. On Saturday, he wrote that he was willing to keep a distance with the film industry because of his experience over the years. He also added that at 71, he wasn’t getting many shows and is not eager perform anymore. Kabir Suman even elaborated that Srijit Mukherji had spoken to him about a film, but he will not like to score for any and requested the filmmaker to understand the situation. Minutes after this, the FB profile could not be found. Aniket had clarified that Dev and he were working on clearing Kabir Suman’s dues at the earliest, even if the shooting has just got over and technically, the payment can be made within six months of completing the shoot.
