Ma Durga

takes the city by storm. And like every year, thousands of her ardent followers are gearing up to make heads turn at umpteen pandals. While some are busy with the goddess’s homecoming preps, others are wrapping up last-minute shopping. But nobody is keeping calm. After all, it’s those four days of festivities that everyone has their eyes set on all through the year.

Gargee

RoyChowdhury gives us a peek into her Ashtami look!

Day look:
She’s blessed with beautiful skin, so it doesn’t take much to make Gargee RoyChowdhury stand out even in an overcrowded pandal. Natural matte base with a little powder puff do wonders to her face. With soft brown eye shadow, black kohl eyes and coats of mascara, peach blush, nude lips and a messy wet low bun, she’s giving us major goals for the perfect day look on Ashtami. The blood-red

sari

with a silver top and jhumkas add a hint of magic.

Evening look:
The actress chooses a natural moisturised glossy base, shimmery gold blush, peach nude lips and open soft curls for the evening. Peach gold shimmery eyes with a thin black liner and mascara complement her handwoven Benarasi. “Wearing gold jewellery with an ethnic sari is a part of our tradition. Since childhood, I have always chosen to wear my favourite outfit on Ashtami and it is never going to change for me,” says Gargee with a smile.
