“From Saturday onwards, I am sensing smell of strong deos. I’m hoping that I will get back my senses soon. My mother, on the other hand, had mild symptoms. Maybe because she has taken her first dose of vaccine, the virus affected her less,” she said.
The actress has also thanked those who stood by her side during these dark hours. “As soon as I got my reports, a strange depression engulfed me. It was due to the anxiety and panic attacks. However, a lot of my friends and neighbours came forward. Neel (Mitra) and Aditi (Roy) live close to my house. They cooked for us. Actress Mallika Mazumder, some of my other neighbours, my didi, and others also cooked us meals. That was helpful. I am indebted to them,” Chandreyee mentioned.
The actress is still in home isolation, following her physician’s guidelines to the hilt. “I am having a lot of fruits, vitamins and other medicines. I'm much better now. I hope to be absolutely alright soon,” Chandreyeesaid.
