Celebs join hand for a special cause through a car rally
Rotary Club of Calcutta Old City in association with Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences hosted, Drive Hridaya, Season 2, a grand fundraising treasure hunt car rally. The event was held at Spring Club on the 27thof January 2019. It was aimed at stoking a feeling of adventure with a social cause.

The event was attended by Sujit Bose (Minister, Fire and Emergency Services,WB),Debasish Kumar(MMIC-Garden,Parks,Sports),multifaceted Mir Afsar Ali, Actors Tathagata & Debleena,Surojit Kala( Chairman, Hridaya),while Priyanka Sarkar was one of the celebrity participants.

It was featured so many super cars while more than 200 cars participated to make it a grand success. Hridaya, a project for the treatment of children with Heart Ailments, in association
with Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences (Unit of Narayana Hrudalaya).

Thirty five children with congenital heart diseases have already been successfully treated with the help of this fund and are now on the road to recovery. They are expecting that they would be able to raise fund for another 50 children.
