Actress Piyali Chatterjee is feeling positive about her debut in Jotugriho

Remember the actress from singer Shaan's latest release of Bengali music video Shei Prem? The beautiful actress, Piyali Chatterjee, is gearing up for her big Tollywood debut. The actress will be seen in a pivotal role in Saptaswa Basu’s Jotugriho, psychological thriller that also stars Parambrata Chatterjee and Bonny Sengupta. The film is being shot in the hill stations of north Bengal and Kalimpong.Piyali plays a girl named Meghna, who has been brought up in north Bengal.

Piyali always harboured a dream of becoming an actress and attended workshops and training sessions with the director of the film to slip into the character effortlessly.
When asked about the future of the Bengali film industry, the actress, who’s also an entrepreneur and a doting mother, said that Bengali cinema is on a rise. "A lot of good movies are being made to kickstart what may be touted as the new era of Bengali film industry," she said.
