'What's left of MVA?': Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC takes jibe at Uddhav Thackeray

NEW DELHI: Shaina NC, a Shiv Sena leader, criticised former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, stating that the public has responded decisively to those who abandoned their principles for power.
In her statement to ANI on Thursday, she emphasised that Mahayuti would continue its work for the state's residents.
Following the Mahayuti alliance's victory in the 2024 Maharashtra assembly elections, she questioned MVA's relevance. The winning alliance comprises her party, the BJP, and Ajit Pawar's NCP. She noted that Uddhav Thackeray's departure from MVA was inconsequential.
"What is left of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is the question. Whether you leave or don't leave, it doesn't make a difference. Do understand this Tsunami and the mandate that has come to the Mahayuti is based on good governance. Not just pushing false narratives and blabbering on television, which seems to be the narrative of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray). Mahayuti is here to stay and to work in the interest of the people of Maharashtra. For all those who lost their ideology and threw it away for power, the public has given a befitting answer to them," Shaina NC told ANI.
She advocated for Eknath Shinde's return as Maharashtra chief minister, suggesting he was the most suitable candidate. She praised his leadership and implementation of various schemes, including the Ladki Behna Yojana, whilst acknowledging the final decision rests with party leadership.
NCP leader Ajit Pawar announced on Wednesday that government formation discussions would occur in Delhi. He confirmed that he, BJP's Devendra Fadnavis, and caretaker chief minister Eknath Shinde would attend these discussions.
Pawar indicated that talks would address the positions of chief minister and two deputy chief ministers.
"All three of us (Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar) are coming to Delhi tomorrow. Further discussions will be held there. Discussions on the formation of the government with a CM and two deputy CMs will be held," Pawar told reporters.
