Filmmaker accuses actor-wife of throwing him and cancer-afflicted mother out of house in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: A 35-year-old cab driver and aspiring Sandalwood director has filed a complaint against his 55-year-old actor-wife, accusing her and a YouTuber of harassing and blackmailing him.

According to the complaint lodged with Vidyaranyapura police, the cabbie met the actor during a film shoot in April 2021 and later got into a relationship.

She, however, lodged a complaint of rape against him with Annapoorneshwarinagar police on Jan 27, 2022.

He was arrested. After his release, the two reconciled and married on March 5, 2022. They lived together in a Subramanyanagar house. She opened an orphanage at Gangondanahalli allegedly to convert black money into white.

She offered to help him make a film with the money but later threw him and his cancer-afflicted mother out of the house on Aug 28, 2024, the complaint said.

She allegedly threatened to ruin his career with the help of a YouTuber and post false news about him on social media.
