TTD chief extends Ugadi wishes, invites AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu to Vontimitta Brahmotsavams

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Chairman BR Naidu and officials extended Ugadi Telugu New Year wishes to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, presenting temple prasadams and traditional blessings. They also invited him to the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple at Vontimitta, scheduled from April 5-15, with the Sita-Rama Kalyanam on April 11.

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Chairman BR Naidu, along with EO J Syamala Rao and Veda Pundits, extended Ugadi Telugu New Year wishes to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence in Undavalli on Sunday.
The TTD chief handed over Tirumala temple prasadams to the CM, and Veda pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam on the Telugu New Year’s Eve.
Meanwhile, the TTD chairman and EO also extended the Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple’s annual Brahmotsavams invitation to the CM. The Sita-Rama Kalyanam, held on the auspicious Srirama Navami festival eve at the Vontimitta temple in Kadapa district, is celebrated as a state festival every year.
Ever since the bifurcation of the twin Telugu states, the Andhra Pradesh chief minister presents Pattu vastrams and Talambralu on behalf of the state govt during the Sita-Rama Kalyanam festival eve.
TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the grand conduct of the annual Brahmotsavams at the Vontimitta temple, slated to be celebrated from April 5-15. The Sita Rama Kalyanam fete will be held at Vontimitta on April 11 this year.
