Man in an inebriated state took seat in middle of road on Prayagraj - Ayodhya highway

PRAYAGRAJ: Pratapgarh police has lodged an FIR against a 30 -year-old man identified as Ajay Soni, a resident of Chilbila Bazar who in an inebriated state took a seat on chair in middle of the road on busiest Prayagraj - Ayodhya highway under the limits of Kotwali city police station on August 29 night.

Ironically, the man sitting on a chair was hit by a passing truck and resulted in his fall on the road. However, when cops spotted him lying in the middle of the road, they took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

However, a video of a high voltage drama taking place near Chilbila police outpost went viral on social media.
The In -charge of Chilbila police outpost, Sub Inspector Sachin Yadav has lodged an FIR under section 281, 125, 355 and 352 of BNS against Ajay Soni and unknown truck driver regarding the incident. The SI in his FIR also claimed that Soni had misbehaved with pedestrians on the highway and later took a seat in the middle of the road under the influence of liquor.
