Days before the release of her new Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan', Meghan Markle posted – and then quickly deleted – behind-the-scenes footage from the show on Instagram.
The 14-second clip featured candid moments with crew members, a brief appearance from Prince Harry, and a cameo from their late beagle, Guy. The video was later reuploaded without explanation, but fans had already shared it widely on social media, reported The Daily Mail.
The lifestyle show, set to premiere on 4 March, sees Meghan inviting friends and celebrities to a California estate, where she shares tips on cooking, gardening, and hosting. However, controversy has erupted after viewers noticed striking similarities between With Love, Meghan and Pamela Anderson’s recently launched Cooking With Love. Critics claim Meghan’s trailer closely resembles Pamela’s, from its aesthetic and themes to specific dialogue and gestures.

Meghan’s decision to briefly remove the backstage video raised eyebrows, with some speculating whether it was due to mounting comparisons with Pamela’s show. The similarities between the two programmes have sparked heated debates online.
Both trailers feature the hosts strolling through gardens, welcoming chefs into their kitchens, and speaking about their passion for elevating ordinary experiences. They even share nearly identical phrases, with Pamela saying, “I’m a sponge soaking it all in,” and Meghan declaring, “I’m just learning.”
Another moment that stood out was a double high-five between Meghan and a guest, mirroring a scene in Pamela’s trailer. Additionally, both shows include the phrase “With Love” in their titles, further fuelling claims of imitation. Meghan’s beekeeping segment also caught attention, as royal fans noted it is a longtime hobby of her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
Meghan’s series is produced by Archewell Productions, the media company she and Harry founded after stepping back from royal duties. The couple’s £80 million Netflix deal, signed in 2020, has so far led to a handful of projects, including Heart of Invictus, a documentary about wounded service members, and Polo, which aired recently.
