Kapil Sharma announces Ed Sheeran's appearance on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', episode airing on THIS Date

Ed Sheeran has been confirmed to appear on Kapil Sharma's hit show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. The news dropped after the latest episode featuring the Heeramandi cast, and a special promo revealed Ed's appearance will be available on May 18. From the looks of the promo, Ed seems to be having a blast, even bringing his guitar along for the ride! It appears Kapil will be switching gears for this episode, with the promo hinting at him primarily speaking English with Ed, who likely doesn't speak much Hindi.
In the begining of the video, Kapil proudly mentioned that Ed had made it to his show after visiting India three times.He also said it was a momentous occasion as two 'international stars' were finally meeting. Kapil teased that Ed had come to India just to meet him. However, Ed responded in Hindi,“No… no… I came because I have a show in Mumbai”.
The promo said the upcoming episode would be entertaining. Ed will talk about his recent show and also join Sunil Grover's 'band' to sing funny songs, do comedy skits, and more. At the end of the promo, Ed admitted it was the wildest thing he's done on camera.
In March, Kapil hinted at Ed's appearance on the show. He posted a picture with Ed and penned, “We always love your songs @edsheeran but after meeting you we love you more you are a sweetheart Can’t wait to show the World the humorous side of yours lots of love n best wishes always my friend .”
Ed Sheeran was in India for the last part of his +-=/x Tour (Mathematics). He performed at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on March 16. During the concert, Diljit Dosanjh joined him for a performance.

Diljit joined Ed on stage for various performances, including singing the popular Punjabi track Lover. In his latest social media post, Diljit shared pictures from their intense stage rehearsals and special moments from the concert.
During his time in Mumbai, Ed Sheeran met Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and Ayushmann Khurrana, enjoying his stay in India. Kapil Sharma recently threw a big party for him, attended by Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Archana Pooran Singh, Esha Gupta, Ahaan Pandey, Munawar Faruqui, and others. Photos from the party spread on social media, including one of newlyweds Rakul and Jackky with Ed, captioned by Rakul as "What a warm guy" with a heart emoji.
