Daniel Henney, the Korean-American actor renowned for his role in ‘The Wheel of Time,’ expressed his prolonged desire to visit India, with a deep appreciation for the culture, and cuisine. While he wanted to visit earlier, the longing has only increased after working with Indian actress, Priyanka Bose.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Daniel appreciated India by stating, “I love the culture. I love the food. The people are incredibly intelligent, classy, and elegant." Additionally, he expressed his desire to work in the Indian films. “I love the energy, the excitement and the colours of Indian cinema. It would be an honour,” Daniel stated.
After working with Priyanka for three seasons, he named her as one of his favourite cast members, calling her the biggest personality.
While they were working, Priyanka urged them to visit India, however, that has not been possible yet. Recalling the previous time he wanted to visit, Daniel mentioned that 15 years ago he was supposed to be in India. However, he had some trouble getting the visa, and the trip derailed. Affirming the visit, the actor stated that visiting India is still on his bucket list.
Illustrating the experience of filming the third season of ‘The Wheel of Time,’ the actor revealed that the action sequences were tough and challenging for him. “They have gotten easier simply because I have gotten a bit more adept at the sword work and some of the physical stuff, which is a point of pride for me. In the beginning, it was tough for me. We had some emotional stuff for Lan, which was challenging as well,” he expressed.
However, the best part about filming the show was to travel around the amazing locations, disclosing that the majority of the shoot was in South Africa and Prague.
